Inspiration vs habit

To better understand everything it´s important to develop a habit. So, I am writing out of habit. At least I am trying to do so.

A few things on my mind:

  • Spiegel Magazine article “Jung, gut und unerwünscht” (pg52ff)
The article focuses on young academics with migrant background ( right expression?) and their frustration over being discriminiated in work life. They have achieved a good education, diplomas yet when applying for jobs they must deal with prejudice or simple bias. Other´s get the job – simply because they are more german by appearance (their skin is not darker, their names are easier to pronounce etc). So, many of them decide to leave Germany, after realizing that there are other countries with job oppurtinities for them. And those countries fully embrace their binationality.
  • While searching for the above mentioned article I found this one Mauer Migrantenstadl. Well, it´s is just funny, isn´t it? First the magazine publishes somthing about educated migrants children and at the same time they inadvertendly poke fun at such children.
DSDS is short for Deutschland sucht den Superstar (a TV format just like, American Idol,..)
  • Sibling rivalry: Olivia de Havilland and Joan Fontaine
