October wrap up, channeling my anger, palin crashing on everybodies toes
Everything is changing so fast, momentarily I have a really hard time keeping up with everything.
I´ve been following the Campaign for the next president of the United States for quite some time now and even though I find it very unlikely that McCain/Palin would win, I am a bit in awe as how things will turn out. Looking back at the last eight years- first no one believed Bush to become POTUS, right?
Reading and watching the news, especially watching those unbelievable Palin rallies, I can´t believe how easily misled people are. Can anyone with a sound mind really be for Vice President Palin? In all seriousness?
What was McCain thinking in choosing her? Only someone with a cynical regard for people can make such a decision. For what does she stand for? Foreign policy? This is such a joke.
That woman doesn´t know anything. And how can it be, that with all the information available, al the resources we have to educate us – some people really buy this B*S* about Obama being a Muslim and being a terrorist? How lazy are people? And McCain has the audacity to lie in front of cameras, to paint a picture of himself that he really is not. With all due respect – he is a hero, but he is not – a caretaker of veteran´s interests. Neither is he savy enough on economical issues. Instead – he links Obama to marxists views. The only thing he stands for is SCARING people. In the same sense Bush and his administration has.
When David Letterman recently asked him about his campain, esp. Palin´s often used phrase “palling around with terrorists” McCain just laughed it off “that´s just campaigning”. Wow.
Here´s the clip (and his argument at 1:20)
I really hope, that this time around there will be some CHANGE.
When I watched Katie Couric´s interview with Hillary Clinton I was inspired by Hillary´s sense of humour, when she laughingly said, that she was amused by politics these days. She is classy and sophisticated, plus above all, a real professional.
You can watch it here
And here is a beatiful song by Sasa Matic, with a nice Sarah Palin look-a -like.
The song means “this is not my night” , Matic sings how everything goes wrong.
Meanwhile, I am off, enjoying some books and reviewing scripts… Take care
