Living on the surface

So I have this VanityFair article on want to read. I´m curious about what this was or still is all about. I only grasped the scandal last year. Because I live in Europe (Germany to be precise) and don´t follow many things that are happening in the USA (I used to, well, when I was younger).

Here are a couple of things on my mind today:

• VanityFair´s article on James Frey
• Because I read about Mike Tyson and a new documentary in the NYTimes,
  I want to research a certain documentary on Mike Tyson I missed a few weeks ago (it was broadcast on some sportchannel, as a series on famous/tragic athletes)
• CNN is about to broadcast a a reportage on racism in sport
• Pat Dollard

But first I need some coffee.
